Stop and Smell the Rosewater

Back when Dante was writing La divina commedia, the monks of Santa Maria Novella were brewing up a masterpiece of their own.

They learned how to infuse Florentine rose petals with water, to make Rosewater, famous for its antiseptic, purifying and anti-oxidant properties. We've been splashing it on our faces and using it in our bathwater for years, but Kathleen has been discovered another great use for the Rosewater — put a little bit (no more than a spoonful) in your ironing water before ironing your pillow cases.
