Winterthur Philadelphia Pie Crust Tea Table This table, from the Winterthur Museum Collection, features the uniquely American birdcage mechanism which joins the piecrust to the shaft and allows the tabletop to either rotate freely or be tilted up for easy and attractive storage. Kindels reproduction is faithful to the original and requires 23 hours of hand carving to achieve the high level of ornamentation. Traditional Winterthur hand-colored, high-sheen finish.
